What does wearing Mellow Mage feel like?
It feels like reading an old tome in a forgotten library while sipping a cup of herbal tea or tending to a garden in your magicians cottage in the forest.
Its a pleasant, relaxed but deliberate contemplation of one’s place in the world.

What does it smell like??
A 30 something year old hippy lady with dreadlocks once described it to me as “this is the smell of a forest after it’s been raining”
There’s a faint freshness to this beard oil but it’s a very mellow – hence the name –
It has a woody depth with overtones of frankincense and clary sage – there’s no other way of describing it: it’s very “magic-ee”- as weird as it sounds, it’s what I like to wear if I’m doing something creative – like writing or playing guitar.
There really is a zen hippy vibe to this oil but it’s a background lingering quality not an in your face blast of freshly burning nag champa.
This is the hardest beard oil I make to describe – when people smell it, they tell me ‘it smells like lavender’ – Now, I’ve been making this beard oil for 10 years and I swear on ZZ Top’s beards that it has no lavender in it.
But it does have a calm, focusing effect – like meditation for your beard.
